Deal offers new strategic growth opportunities and diversified product portfolio

DENVER, Oct. 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Furthering its mission to improve the lives of pet parents with meaningful innovations, Outward Hound® today announced that it has acquired award-winning pet product company Petstages®. This is the third and largest acquisition for Outward Hound, further differentiating the company's product offerings while opening up new retail and specialty distribution channels.

Petstages has developed a popular line of products, including the Dogwood(R) Chew Stick, Orka(R) chew toys and INVIRONMENT(R) scratchers, that address the behavioral needs of pets at all life stages.
