AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- To celebrate the promise of America's young people and honor the communities most dedicated to helping local youth graduate from high school, America's Promise Alliance recently revealed its 2010 list of 100 Best Communities for Young People, presented by ING. This recognition highlights communities producing real, measurable results that improve the lives of young people. Each winning community went through an intensive selection process proving they were developing programs and implementing initiatives that provide young people with the essential resources they need to graduate from high school and succeed in college and a 21st century career. nFocus Software, the leading provider of performance management, training and outcome measurement software, learned that 41 of the 100 Best communities are home to organizations and schools that are currently using nFocus Software's TraxSolutions in their efforts to help local youth reach their full potential.

One such community is Louisville, Kentucky, a four-time 100 Best winner. America's Promise noted nFocus Software's partnership with the Jefferson County Public Schools in Louisville, describing its KidTrax software as "an early warning system that provides 'real time' data on individual students and will help identify potential dropouts and recommend the most effective interventions." Other nFocus Software clients mentioned by America's Promise Alliance include the Aberdeen Boys & Girls Club in Aberdeen, South Dakota and the Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club of Durham, North Carolina. Both clubs are using data to develop strong programming and demonstrate results.
