Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning® Receives AllBusiness AllStar Award

LAKEWOOD, Colo., Jan. 27, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning was recently ranked No. 172 on the AllBusiness AllStar Franchise rankings. The list compiles the 300 "best of the best" franchise opportunities for 2011.

The AllBusiness AllStar Franchise List rankings are based on a number of criteria analyzed by the AllBusiness.com team. The franchises are recognized based on franchise unit growth rate, financial strength, system size, number of years in business, number of years the company has been franchising, availability of financing and online brand visibility. Investment cost was also a factor.

"Since we just began franchising in 2006, this is our first time on this list. We are thrilled to be included among prestigious franchise mainstays such as Dunkin' Donuts, Pizza Hut and 7-Eleven," said Jonathan Barnett, Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning founder and CEO.

Oxi Fresh was one of 57 AllStars on the list that cost less than $50,000 for a franchise. The franchise was also one of 78 AllStars that were home-based. The AllStar judges were impressed with Oxi Fresh's growth rate, its low investment cost and high Web visibility.

Oxi Fresh is an environmentally friendly carpet cleaning franchise. The company's proprietary cleaning system requires low water usage and is safe for children and pets. By establishing a national 24 hour/7day per week appointment scheduling center, Oxi Fresh has enabled franchisees to forego retaining a receptionist and leasing office space, and concentrate on sales and service.

The AllStar judges also noted the green carpet cleaning franchise's recent Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Design for the Environment Certification, its 2010 franchise satisfaction award from Franchise Business Review, and Oxi Fresh's participation in IFA's VetFran program. Additionally, AllStars recognized Oxi Fresh for disclosing its financial performance in Item 19 of the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD).
