PACCAR Recognizes NORMA Group For Supplier Excellence In The Americas

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. and JUAREZ, Mexico, Oct. 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- NORMA Group facilities in Auburn Hills, Michigan, and Juarez, Mexico, have received PACCAR's 50PPM Award for supplier excellence.

A global leader in engineered joining technology, NORMA Americas has earned the PACCAR award in each of the past four years. PACCAR is a major U.S.-based manufacturer of medium and heavy-duty trucks.

PACCAR's 50PPM Award is based on a variety of supplier performance criteria, including innovative product technology, production parts approval processes (PPAP), on-time delivery and warranty performance. Award nominees also must demonstrate a commitment to quality in accordance with QS-9000, ISO/TS 16949 or ISO 9001 for 2008.

Components supplied to PACCAR from NORMA Group facilities in the U.S. and Mexico include V-band clamps, multi-functional UniStrap clamps, T-bold clamps, worm-drive clamps and fluid-system parts since 2006.
