Pacific Gas and Electric Company Wins Three Awards for Gas Safety 101 Video Series

SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) has been recognized with three awards for their Gas Safety 101 video series. This informative video set has earned a Summit Creative Award, a Horizon Award and a Communicator Award of Distinction. The awards honor the best in interactive media worldwide.

PG&E worked with Contingency Management Consulting Group (CMCG) and Allen Communication to develop the educational videos as part of its Public Awareness Plan.

The Summit Creative Awards drew more than 5,000 submissions representing 25 countries. Winners were selected in categories including: advertising, website marketing, emerging media, collateral, direct mail, public service and social marketing.

The Communicator Awards are judged and overseen by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA), an organization of leading professionals of the visual arts dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media. The Communicator Awards honors creative excellence among communications professionals worldwide.
