Independent biomedical research institute lists 45,000-square-foot facility with Heartland, LLC as exclusive advisor

SEATTLE, Sept. 29, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Pacific Northwest Research Institute (PNRI) today announced that it has listed its 45,000-square-foot research facility at 720 Broadway in Seattle for sale. The Institute has engaged Heartland, LLC as the exclusive broker for the transaction.

The six-story property has served as PNRI's headquarters since 1988, housing laboratory, office, and meeting space. Its location along the Broadway corridor places it within one of Seattle's most active life sciences and medical districts.

Founded in 1956, PNRI scientists have advanced pioneering research into genetics, type 1 diabetes, and rare diseases. The decision to sell the property reflects the Institute's commitment to sustaining its research enterprise and positioning itself for the future.
