Pacific Standard Time Appoints TBWA\Chiat\Day Los Angeles for Marketing and Communications Campaign

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Pacific Standard Time, an unprecedented collaboration of more than 50 arts institutions throughout Southern California that are coming together to tell the story of the birth of the LA art scene, has appointed TBWA\Chiat\Day Los Angeles for a sustained marketing and communications campaign beginning October 2011.

To document this pivotal moment and bring it to life for a wide audience, the partner institutions in Pacific Standard Time have conducted groundbreaking research, which they will now reveal in concurrent, thematically linked exhibitions, performances and programs for six months beginning October 2011. The result, on view throughout the Los Angeles area and beyond, extending from Santa Barbara to San Diego to Palm Springs, will be nothing less than a new vision of the arts today, and how Los Angeles has played a decisive role in their development.
