Pactera Appoints Michael Kung as Chief Information Officer

BEIJING, July 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Pactera, a global IT consulting and solutions provider and China's largest technology service provider, has recently announced the appointment of Michael Kung as Chief Information Officer (CIO). He will directly report to Pactera CEO Tiak Koon Loh as Senior Vice President.

Mr. Kung has more than 25 years of experience in the IT industry and has served at a number of multinational companies. Prior to Pactera, he worked at Microsoft for 16 years, taking senior management and leadership roles at SQL Server, Exchange, Dynamics, MS IT and MS Open Technologies operations. Mr. Kung also served as manager of the Oracle8 global project group at Oracle, and as an AIX operating system architect at IBM. In addition to his experience in global IT integration and implementation in the field, Mr. Kung has also led multinational teams to work together and realized the successful operation of MSIT China. Mr. Kung holds an M.S. in Computer Science and an MBA from the University of Washington.

Upon joining the management team at Pactera, Mr. Kung will lead IT operations to improve service and operational capabilities of the company's internal systems, and help functional departments design and implement system applications functions to improve working efficiency and reduce operational costs. In addition, he will serve as a strategic business champion to coordinate technical resources and realize customer value through enhancing business department capabilities.
