Paessler executives, technicians and consultants in booth 2626 at the annual event's World of Solutions Expo will present live demonstrations and answer questions about the latest version of PRTG Network Monitor.

Under its recently introduced continuous rollout model, PRTG Network Monitor customers benefit from the best, most up-to-date version of the software as soon as it becomes available, rather than having to wait for each major release.

Among its new features, PRTG version 12 includes a "Configuration Guru," new sensor types and interactive geo-maps. Network engineers, senior IT executives and other booth visitors will also receive answers to specific network monitoring challenges, get in-depth information about the company's new release channels, and view firsthand PRTG Network Monitor's new sensor type for Cisco Adaptive Security Appliances (ASA).

In addition to Cisco ASA, version 12's new sensor types monitor VMware host's health status, SharePoint processes, IIS web services and VPN-connections. SIP options "Ping" on a SIP server and Google Analytics values, Ping times measured via a remote system using WMI. The latest version also includes a sensor for monitoring XEN host servers.

When first setting up PRTG Network Monitor, the Configuration Guru interactively guides users through initial set-up, automatically selecting and setting up the first set of sensors based on the specific network environment. The enhanced geo-maps feature enables the integration of geographical maps including MapQuest, with data from the Open Street Map project, Nokia Maps, and CloudMade in addition to the already offered Google maps integration.
