IRVINE, Calif., Aug. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Panasonic Avionics Corporation (Panasonic Avionics) today announced that its full suite of Astrova™ 4K OLED in-flight engagement (IFE) screens - from 13-inch to 42-inch - has achieved Eyesafe^®* Display Requirements 3.0 certification. With this milestone, Astrova becomes the first IFE system to receive this voluntary, third-party verified certification for blue-light management and display performance criteria.

Growing awareness of digital eye strain is reshaping expectations for display technology, particularly in environments such as aircraft cabins where passengers spend extended periods viewing screens at close range.
