Panasonic to Launch 15-Market "Experience Amazing" Tour

SECAUCUS, N.J., March 31, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Panasonic, a worldwide leader in Full HD 3D and Connected TV technologies, announced today the launch of the Panasonic Experience Amazing Tour – a six-week, 15-market tour designed to give consumers a chance to experience Panasonic's 2011 line-up of home entertainment products including the latest Full HD 3D VIERA TVs and Panasonic VIERA Connect IPTVs featuring a vastly expanded range of interactive apps including gaming, fitness, live sports, video streaming and much more.

The first leg of the Panasonic Experience Amazing Tour will kick off across the nation the week of April 4 with events at New York's Grand Central Terminal (April 4-5) and Roosevelt Field (April 7-10), Chicago's Union Station (April 4-8), and Los Angeles' Culver City Shopping Center (April 4-10).

The tour will then appear in major markets including Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Miami, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington, DC over the next five weeks, through May 15.  (See specific locations and dates below).

The Experience Amazing Tour will give visitors an opportunity to experience for themselves Panasonic's critically acclaimed 2011 line of Full HD 3D VIERA® HDTVs, VIERA Connect-enabled IPTVs, 3D Blu-ray Disc™ players, rechargeable 3D Active Shutter Eyewear, and Panasonic's 2011 digital imaging products including Panasonic's consumer 3D camcorders and LUMIX digital cameras with interchangeable 3D lenses.  

The display will also feature a range of immersive 3D content including the latest 3D programming from DIRECTV's suite of linear 3D TV channels, including the n3D™ Powered by Panasonic channel, PC-based 3D video gaming from nVIDIA; and an array of new VIERA Connect IPTV apps optimized for large-screen flat panel HDTVs.

Visitors to the Panasonic Experience Amazing Tour will also have an opportunity to get hands on with Panasonic 3D products and also see themselves in 3D using Panasonic's 2011 3D consumer camcorders.
