Panasonic's New Lightweight JetTurn Vacuum Cleaners Swivel and Lay Flat for Quick and Easy Cleaning, Even in Tight and Hard-to-Reach Places
The Panasonic JetTurn Vacuums, Weighing Just 15 Pounds, Feature a New and Unique Swivel Nozzle Design for Quick Maneuvering and Easy Cleaning
NEW YORK, Oct. 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Panasonic today announces its new JetTurn line of vacuum cleaners which feature a unique swivel nozzle that makes steering around furniture and other tight areas in the home, simple and smooth. With the ability to maneuver quickly, and weighing just 15 pounds, the Panasonic JetTurn vacuum makes cleaning more efficient. Furthermore, the JetTurn vacuum can lay flat, making it possible to clean hard-to-reach places, such as underneath a bed, coffee table or other low-clearance objects in a home.
A colorful and attractive addition to the home, the Panasonic JetTurn is available in a teal model MC-UL810 and a green model MC-UL815, both of which feature an automatic cord reel so storage is neat and compact. The JetTurn is Panasonic's lightest upright vacuum cleaner, but that does not mean it compromises on performance or power. While it is lightweight enough to easily carry from room-to-room, the Panasonic JetTurn features a 12-amp motor to provide a powerful suction to easily pick up dirt and lint. Plus, the bagless cyclonic system helps prevent suction loss as it has a washable filter and a convenient bottom-drop dust cup that is easy to clean and remove.
"The Panasonic JetTurn vacuum cleaner is the perfect balance of lightweight, power and maneuverability and we expect it to be a welcomed addition to any home where cleaning needs to be done quickly and easily, yet effectively," said David Williams, Group Marketing Manager, Home Appliances Group, Panasonic Home & Health Company. "Using a newly developed swivel design for the JetTurn makes the vacuum easier to maneuver around furniture and allows for smooth direction change, all while being powerful enough to pick-up dirt, lint and even stubborn pet hair."
For homes with pets, the Panasonic JetTurn includes several accessories, including the Air Turbine brush, a pet hair attachment which is ideal for removing stubborn pet hair from furniture and carpets. Also, the included telescoping brush makes it easy to quickly switch to cleaning above-floor surfaces, such as curtains and ceiling nooks that easily collect dust. The Panasonic JetTurn also includes a HEPA Media Filter, which captures small particles such as allergens, irritants, and pollutants.
The Panasonic JetTurn MC-UL815 differentiates itself from the MC-UL810 not only in color, but also with the following two features: an electronic dirt sensor that signals with a light that the area is clean; and a bare floor option to easily switch off the agitator so it is safe to clean bare floors.
The Panasonic JetTurn MC-UL815 will have a suggested retail price (SRP) of $199.95, while the MC-UL810 has an SRP of $169.95. Both models are available in early-November. For more information about Panasonic vacuum cleaners, please visit www.panasonic.com/vacuums.
