Papa John's Scores Big with New 15:1 Jermaine Kearse Foundation Partnership
Pizza maker to offer special deal, donate $500 for each catch, and $1,500 for each touchdown by Kearse this football season
SEATTLE, Sept. 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Papa John's franchisees throughout Washington state have signed an agreement to be a founding corporate sponsor of the 15 to 1: Jermaine Kearse Foundation. Kearse, wide receiver for the Seattle Seahawks, created the foundation to support and inspire youth in military families to work hard, persevere and believe in order to overcome adversity and find success through positive choices, experiences and opportunity.
Born in Lakewood, Kearse grew up in a military family and respects the commitment to serving the country. "15 to 1 represents my journey, from a military base to the National Football League," said Kearse. "It represents beating the odds and taking the road that was not necessarily the one that was right in front of me. I'm honored that Papa John's chose us for this partnership."
As part of the partnership, Papa John's has created a special online-only Jermaine Kearse Pizza offer, including a Large 2-Topping Pizza and a Double Chocolate Chip Cookie for $15.21 with $1.21 of every order being donated to the 15 to 1: Jermaine Kearse Foundation. In addition, Papa John's will donate $500 for each catch made by, and $1,500 for each touchdown scored by Kearse during the 2015-2016 NFL season.
