The ad, which launches this week in 11 major media markets across the country, features the new Paper Mate Biodegradable* pen and mechanical pencil, the latest line-up of innovation exclusively from the market leader, Paper Mate. Both are made with a majority of their components that will biodegrade in backyard soil in about a year. Using animation, the ad transforms the new Biodegradable* pen, as well as the Paper Mate Gel and Design pens, into gliding skaters, skiers and a cheering crowd. The ad will air during morning and prime time slots in Chicago, Miami, Atlanta, New York City, Los Angeles, Dallas, San Francisco, Minneapolis, and Little Rock/Ft. Smith.

Activities will challenge guests to list-making races, trivia contests, and offer prizes for spotting certain images or phrases in the new Paper Mate ad.
