Parent Resource Center and LINKZ Partner to Connect Frederick County Families with Educational Support

The collaboration highlights Frederick County's growing network of businesses and community organizations working together to meet local needs.

FREDERICK, Md., Oct. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The Parent Resource Center and LINKZ have partnered to help connect Frederick County families with educational resources and specialized support, demonstrating how collaboration among local organizations can strengthen the community.

Located in downtown Frederick, the Parent Resource Center serves as a hub for parents of children who are neurodivergent learners, connecting families with trusted community partners, resources, events and support. LINKZ provides personalized educational services, including specialized tutoring for students with learning differences, dyslexia and ADHD, as well as executive functioning support and other academic services.

LINKZ, which previously served Frederick County families from outside the county, saw growing demand from local parents who were making the trip for its services. That demand helped pave the way for the organization to establish a Frederick location, bringing its services closer to the families who needed them.

The partnership with the Parent Resource Center builds on that local presence by strengthening connections between families and organizations dedicated to helping children and parents thrive.

"Parents often know their child needs additional support but aren't sure where to turn. Our mission is to make those connections easier and help families feel supported along the way. Partnering with LINKZ brings specialized educational services closer to Frederick County families and reflects what makes this community so special—local organizations working together to help children thrive," said Ashley VanCleef, founder of Parent Resource Center and Law For Parents.

The collaboration also reflects Frederick County's broader culture of partnership, where businesses and community organizations work together to respond to local needs and create opportunities for residents. For businesses considering Frederick County, these relationships demonstrate the value of becoming part of an engaged and connected community.

"In today's ever-changing landscape, families looking for effective and meaningful resources for their children are often faced with confusion and overwhelm. That's why we're so happy to partner with Ashley and her Parent Resource Center - it makes it easy to send families to a trusted and knowledgeable organization, doing powerful work in this community," said Jake Ferentz, Director & CEO of LINKZ
