PHILADELPHIA, Aug. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- ParenteBeard LLC is pleased to announce that effective today, Glenn R. James has joined the firm as a Partner in the firm's Tax Practice.  Mr. James has been named financial services tax leader for the firm and is based in ParenteBeard's Philadelphia office.

Mr. James brings more than 30 years of broad based tax experience in public accounting to ParenteBeard.  He has extensive experience with the taxation of and issues surrounding corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies, and has provided tax and advisory services to clients across a diverse range of industries. He has consulted with public and privately-owned regional, national and multinational corporations with respect to operations, accounting methods, entity structure, mergers, acquisitions, restructurings and consolidated return issues over the course of his career.  

During his career with national accounting firms KPMG LLP and Grant Thornton LLP, Mr. James led several practice teams responsible for the delivery of tax consulting and compliance services to multinational and national clients.  With his practice dedicated to serving the financial services sector, Mr. James is a seasoned tax advisor who continually delivers the strategies financial services clients need to maximize their business objectives.
