Parents Magazine's Free Baby Photo Contest Ends June 19

NEW YORK, June 5 /PRNewswire/ -- The deadline for Parents magazine's cover contest is fast approaching. The contest ends on June 19 at 10:59 p.m. CDT, so proud parents need to gather their cute baby pictures and submit them to the Parents Magazine Cover Contest now. Parents magazine is looking for non-professional, unpublished photos of kids aged three months to six years old.

"With the June 19 deadline almost upon us, we're hoping moms and dads are sifting through their cute baby pictures or taking new ones to enter into our annual contest," said Dana Points, Parents magazine's editor-in-chief. "We're looking for photos that really reflect the child's personality and show him or her in a happy, playful mood. Parents can upload up to six pictures of each child."

Judges will select the cutest kid to appear on the cover of Parents magazine's November 2010 issue. Twenty semifinalists will be chosen, based on the criteria set forth in the Official Rules. Judges will then narrow the semi-finalists down to nine finalists, plus a Reader's Choice winner. These nine finalists and the Reader's Choice winner will travel to New York City for a professional photo shoot in August.

After they've uploaded their child's photos, parents will receive an email the following week notifying them that their photo is ready for Reader's Choice voting. At that point, they can remind their family and friends to cast a vote for their child's photo every day for a week. The photo with the most votes each week will be deemed a Reader's Choice semi-finalist. On or around July 7, the 11 Reader's Choice semi-finalists from each week of the contest will be posted for a final round of voting to determine the one Reader's Choice winner.
