Paris Baguette to Open New Bakery Café in Missouri City on October 31

Locally owned by Osman Ulhaq, the new neighborhood bakery café located at 6266 Highway 6 will bring freshly baked pastries and breads, handcrafted cakes, coffee and café favorites.

MISSOURI CITY, Texas, Oct. 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Paris Baguette is preparing to open its new Missouri City bakery café on October 31st, bringing the brand's signature bakery café experience to the community. Located at 6266 Highway 6 in the Kroger-anchored Colony Lakes Shopping Center, the new café will serve Missouri City and surrounding communities, including Sienna, Riverstone, Quail Valley and Lake Olympia. With more than 4,000 locations worldwide and more than 350+ bakery cafés operating across North America, the brand continues to expand its footprint, with multiple locations in development. The established concept is rapidly strengthening its presence in key markets.

The café will be owned and operated by Osman Ulhaq, alongside Krystle Ulhaq, Vice President of Talent and Experience. Together, they are bringing to life Paris Baguette's vision to reestablish the neighborhood bakery café as the heart of the community. The café will offer a welcoming place for people to make part of their everyday lives, from morning coffee and lunch with friends to after-school treats, family traditions and the cakes that mark life's biggest celebrations.

"Missouri City is an incredible place to build something meaningful," said Ulhaq. "We want to create a space our neighbors feel is truly theirs, a place where people feel welcome, relationships are built and everyday moments can become something special. We're especially proud to have hired locally, and we're committed to giving back through local food banks, No Kid Hungry, and other community organizations. We can't wait to open our doors and welcome our neighbors to experience what makes Paris Baguette so special."

Ulhaq brings experience across hospitality, automotive and financial services to the new venture. He began his career with InterContinental Hotels, where he developed a passion for guest hospitality, before moving into leadership roles with Honda and Lexus and later Yum! Brands. Most recently, he served as executive vice president and chief strategy and growth officer across three credit union organizations in Arizona before returning to the Houston area. Looking for a business that would bring together his experience in strategic growth and brand marketing with his interest in hands-on hospitality, Ulhaq chose Paris Baguette after experiencing the concept firsthand.

Paris Baguette Missouri City has hired locally, creating 45 new jobs for people in the area, and plans to continue creating employment and development opportunities as the business grows.

The Missouri City café opening is a milestone for the brand, and the 30th in the state of Texas. Paris Baguette plans to reach 1,000 locations across the U.S. and Canada by 2030 and is expanding through meaningful partnerships with local entrepreneurs who show a genuine interest in bringing people together over fresh-baked goods and artisan coffee beverages.

"We're on a mission to reestablish the neighborhood bakery café as the heart of the community across the U.S., and we're excited to see Osman bring this to life in his local trade area," said Darren Tipton, CEO of Paris Baguette. "In our cafés, we like to say, 'Happy to see you. Happier to serve you.' And we know Osman will wholeheartedly embrace this approach in his neighborhood."
