Park Lane Hotel Innovates Its Classic Sunday Brunch Combining Longlasting Favorites With Extended Offerings

NEW YORK, Oct. 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Park Lane Hotel, a luxury 46-story hotel with panoramic views of Central Park and the New York City Skyline, has introduced a renewed Sunday brunch menu at its restaurant, The Park Room.

On Sundays from 12:00pm to 2:30pm, diners can enjoy a brunch special for $60, which includes a breakfast buffet, a selection of one hot entree, a dessert buffet, and freshly brewed coffee and assorted teas along with the choice of bottomless Mimosas or Bloody Mary's. For $25, children under 12 can also order from all of the menu's selections. A la carte beverage selections such as champagne, espresso, and cappuccino are available to order as well.

The buffet includes items such as Smoked Atlantic Salmon with capers, red onions, tomatoes, flavored cream cheese and assorted New York bagels as well as an imported and domestic cheese spread accompanied by dried fruits, nuts, fresh grapes and English crackers. Guests can than choose an item from the restaurant's selection of both sweet and savory hot entrees such as their Malted Belgian Waffles accompanied by warm maple syrup and fresh berries to custom made three egg omelets. Rounding out the menu selections is a dessert spread including sweets such as chocolate cakes, New York cheesecakes and seasonal fresh fruit and berry cocktails.

Located on the second floor of Park Lane Hotel, The Park Room invites guests to indulge not only in delicious food, but in a spectacular view of Central Park available from any seat in the restaurant. Through a full wall of large windows along the northern most side of the restaurant, The Park Room overlooks both 59^th street and Central Park and offers diners a view unlike any other brunch location in the area.

Other upcoming restaurant specials include The Park Room's Thanksgiving Day Buffet for $110 on Thursday, November 28^th from 12:00pm-2:00pm and then again from 2:30pm-4:30pm. The special menu includes a buffet of cold items such as a Charcuterie Platter and a Seafood Bar and hot items such as a Sweet Potato Gratin and hand carved Roasted Tom Turkey. Guests will also receive a complimentary glass of The Park Room's house wine. The Park Room would also like to welcome NYC Marathon runners and attendees to relax and refuel for brunch on Sunday, November 2^nd.
