ASHEVILLE, N.C., April 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Snazzy sparkles and well-worn blue jeans are the attire of choice for the 8th annual Seasons of Life Soiree 2013, an event to benefit vital non-profit patient services at Four Seasons Compassion For Life. The event is presented by Park Ridge Health at the Crown Plaza Asheville.
Four Seasons Compassion For Life is a top-ranking hospice and palliative care provider serving 10 counties in western North Carolina from its Flat Rock base of operations.
At the event, http://goo.gl/Ea4Z3, attendees enjoy the talents of local jazz musicians Carol Duermit and Brad Curtioff and dine on a Tuscan-themed buffet dinner, their presences support the vital non-profit services provided patients and families in western North Carolina as Four Seasons Compassion ForLife continues Co-Creating the Care Experience and celebrates the lives of those individuals they've loved and nurtured through quality end of life care.
Attendees will directly impact vital programs at Four Seasons through an exciting, live Fund-a-Need Auction. A video featuring the agency's services through staff experience shares the impact individual, tax deductible direct giving has on its programs and mission.
To add to the evening's effervescence, five hidden treasure items will be featured in a silent auction. The bidders will not know what the item is for which they are bargaining, but will make their bids based on mysterious clues. To attend, RSVP at http://goo.gl/Ea4Z3.
Donations go directly to families and patients to offset the costs for care of those in need, often in the absence of medical insurance. Currently, hospice patient services are estimated at $150 per diem, while palliative care during an extended illness is estimated at $1000 per annum. Last year, Four Seasons provided about $450,000 in indigent care to western North Carolina families to help them care for their loved ones at end of life.
The benefit for Four Seasons Compassion For Life's vital non-profit patient services is Saturday, April 27, at Crowne Plaza Resort Expo Center, 1 Resort Drive, Asheville 28806, from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Cost is $75 with advance confirmation.
