Patent To Be Awarded To FourthWall Media For Television And Mobile Personalization Technology

DULLES, Va., Sept. 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- FourthWall Media® (FWM), the largest independent source of cable set-top box viewing data, announced today that the U.S. Patent office has approved a patent for their broadband device personalization technology.  This technology utilizes proprietary methods to analyze consumer on-device behaviors.  It stores individual viewer profile data only on the consumer's television or mobile device where it remains for future use in advertising and content delivery.

In the most privacy-preserving manner, it informs targeted advertising technology which commercial to run, which overlay to display, or which personalized content would be preferred.  This personalization technology was designed for use in FourthWall's Ad Widgets® interactive advertising platform.
