Prior to her role at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Stonesifer was a senior vice president at Microsoft. Patty is a board member of the Academy of Arts & Sciences and the Council on Foreign Relations. Stonesifer has also served on the U.S. delegation to the United Nations General Assembly Special Session on AIDS.
