CHICAGO, April 3, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Paul Earle, a recognized entrepreneur and corporate innovator, has launched Paul Earle & Co. to help growth-focused businesses commercialize more, better innovations, faster. To learn more, go to www.PaulEarle.com.
The company was formed to meet needs and opportunities caused by what Earle called a "historic inflection point" emerging in corporate innovation. "Big companies and new enterprises are increasingly pining for what the other has," Earle said. "Great value can be created by leveraging the best of both."
One offering, Advance Party™, accelerates and directly commercializes internal innovation concepts by connecting them to the external ecosystem of entrepreneurs, capital, retail, and creative professionals. The other, Kernel™, mines and develops ideas—personal passions, hunches, and such— emanating from within a corporation's own employee base at large.
"Top companies have a treasure trove of intellectual property and other forms of creative capital, but sometimes struggle to realize its value," Earle said. "We Transform Mind Into Matter™, and in so doing help clients drive new revenue streams, guard against competitive threats, and remain culturally vital."
Earle brings considerable relevant experience. Previously he was founder and President of the brand acquisition and redevelopment firm River West Brands, which later became part of Omnicom Group. He then co-founded and headed Farmhouse, the innovation center of the global creative agency Leo Burnett. He is also an adjunct lecturer of innovation and entrepreneurship at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
The company refers to itself as a "collective" and includes advisors and alliance partners such as the acclaimed consumer goods entrepreneur Craig Dubitsky, who had key roles at Method, Eos and Hello (the latter two as founder); Stephanie Farsht, formerly a senior innovation and corporate development leader at Target; Craig Sampson, a renowned former leader at IDEO; the top growth specialist Clareo; and a network of other entrepreneurs, financiers, retailers and creatives.
The company further announced it will soon release Origin Stories of Innovation™, a podcast series featuring interviews with such luminaries as Crate & Barrel founder Gordon Segal, Skinny Pop co-founder Andy Friedman, and Chicago Blackhawks owner Rocky Wirtz, recounting the birth and growth of their brands. Stay tuned to www.PaulEarle.com for updates.
