Paul Marchand Joins Charter as Executive Vice President, Human Resources
STAMFORD, Conn., Oct.5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Charter Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ:CHTR) today announced that Paul Marchand will join the Company as Executive Vice President, Human Resources. In this role, Marchand will oversee all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, training, talent management, payroll, compensation and benefits planning. He will report to Tom Rutledge, President and Chief Executive Officer.

Marchand joins Charter after nearly 12 years with PepsiCo, most recently as Senior Vice President of Human Resources for the North America Beverages Field and Supply Chain organization. There Marchand led a team of over 250 individuals in the delivery of human resources services and solutions to this critical part of the beverages business. Marchand held multiple other leadership positions at PepsiCo including Senior Vice President and Head of Global Talent Acquisition and Deployment of PepsiCo, Vice President of Human Resources for the PepsiCo Foodservice Business, as well as Senior Director of Human Resources for the Pepsi-Cola sales organization including Retail Sales, Foodservice Sales and PepsiCo Customer Team Sales.
Marchand's experience also includes human resources roles at Merrill Lynch, JPMorgan and the May Department Stores Company. He holds a Master's Degree from Columbia University in Organizational Psychology and a Bachelor's Degree from Syracuse University in Advertising & Marketing.
Marchand will be based at Charter's Stamford, Connecticut corporate headquarters.
