How a New Parking App is Making the Season Brighter by Paying Parking Tickets For Angelenos in Celebration of Giving Tuesday
LOS ANGELES, Nov. 28, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Living in Los Angeles, most of us have dealt with the frustration of parking and the tickets that go along with it. This holiday season, however, peer-to-peer parking app, Pavemint, is dedicated to turning that frustration into joy. Armed with a satchel of blue gift envelopes, employees of the company recently traveled to the worst places to park in LA and presented real parking citation recipients with "Pavemint Golden Tickets" promising to pay for parking infractions and offering $100 in free parking via Pavemint's inventory of over 4,000 private parking spaces across Los Angeles—no strings attached. This announcement marks the start of an entire "Month of Giving" initiative at Pavemint; starting Friday, December 1st and going through Friday, December 29th, Pavemint will pay for five City of Los Angeles parking tickets every week, up to $250 in value.
