Payments Security Veteran Lance Johnson Joins Sequent as Chief Security Officer

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Aug. 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Sequent Software (www.sequent.com) announced today that Lance Johnson has joined the Sequent executive team as Chief Security Officer, and will lead the development and deployment of the Company's risk management and mobile-payment security technologies.

Lance's career includes more than twenty years of service at Visa International, where he served as Senior Vice President directing Visa's efforts in global risk management and security; fraud detection and control; brand risk exposure; and the development and management of Visa's policies, procedures and practices for global payment data and device security. Recognized in the industry for his expertise and leadership, Johnson is a founding member of the Executive Committee and Board of Managers of the PCI Security Standards Council.
