Pedro Egea Joins Grey Mexico As President

MEXICO CITY, June 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Alain Groenendaal, President & CEO of Grey Latin America, today announced that Pedro Egea Barbosa has joined Grey as President of Grey Mexico, effective immediately.

Pedro Egea joins Grey from Google where as Industry Manager since 2012 he helped build the company's practice in retail and ecommerce.  Prior to that, he spent three years at Y&R Brands' Wunderman, rising to the post of General Manager in Mexico, significantly growing its operations.

Earlier in his career, Pedro Egea served as CRM Director of Ferrer Comunicaciones, one of Mexico's most renowned local agencies and as Account Director at Ogilvy & Mather, overseeing American Express.  He began his career at Havas' EHS Brann Mexico in account management.

During his career, Pedro Egea has contributed to the growth and success of such brands as Danone, Nestle, Masterfoods, Johnson & Johnson and L'Oreal in packaged goods; Diageo, Pernod Ricard and SABMiller in alcoholic beverages; Citigroup and American Express in financial services; Walmart and Sam's Club in retail; Nokia and Telefonica in telecom; Ford, Land Rover, Mazda and Jaguar in automotive and a host of ecommerce companies.
