Peggy Noonan to Give Keynote Address at 2013 Celebrating Life Luncheon

DALLAS, Oct. 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Council for Life today announced Peggy Noonan as the keynote speaker for the 12^th annual Celebrating Life Luncheon. Best-selling author and columnist for The Wall Street Journal, Peggy Noonan will speak to more than 1,000 Council for Life members and guests at a noon luncheon at the Hilton Anatole Hotel on Monday, November 18, 2013.

"Our annual luncheon is a culmination of educational events throughout the year that seek to raise awareness around the complicated issues of unplanned pregnancies," said Council for Life President Mona Wilson. "Peggy Noonan is a voice for the vulnerable and the voiceless on a national level and we are thrilled to have her with us."

Noonan is a heralded columnist for The Wall Street Journal and the bestselling author of eight books on American history and culture. In 2008, The National Journal called Noonan's widely read columns "indispensable to an understanding of the presidential year." Noonan's essays have appeared in TIME, Newsweek, The Washington Post and other publications, and she provides frequent commentary on television.

Council for Life provides financial support for non-profit organizations throughout Dallas-Fort Worth, such as Chosen Child Adoption Services, White Rose Women's Center and Dallas Pregnancy Resource Center.
