Pennsylvania Business Central names VetAdvisor® /Three Wire Systems, LLC Executive Vice President in Top 100
Jennifer Christman named top 100 people in business and economic development for the third year in a row
EBENSBURG, Pa., Jan. 31, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Pennsylvania Business Central, the number one B2B publication in Central PA, recently released its Top 100 People list recognizing the region's most influential business leaders. VetAdvisor/Three Wire Systems, LLC (Three Wire), is pleased to announce Jennifer Christman, chief and executive vice president of Behavioral Programs, has been named to the Top 100 for the third year in a row.
Christman has been instrumental in growing Three Wire's health and human solutions program, VetAdvisor, to becoming a national expert on veteran-centric holistic care, conducting more than 500,000 one-on-one coaching sessions since its establishment in 2007. The organization provides veterans, guards, reservists and their family members with access to reintegration services in all areas of wellness including behavioral health, financial coaching, and career development. More recently, it has expanded its program to serve all professionals in uniform and at-risk populations in life-threatening crises under MyAdvisor®.
"It's an honor to be recognized among my peers for the work we've accomplished in serving our nation's heroes year after year," said Christman. "We've successfully moved the needle, but there are still many barriers veterans, uniformed professionals and their families face once returning home from duty that impacts all areas of their lives. Our focus is growing our community-based initiatives that respond to holistic health and wellness goals while continuing to educate our country on mental health issues."
A proud military spouse married to a retired Air Force veteran, Christman has made it her life's work to advocate for behavioral health care on a local and national platform. Christman serves as president of the board of directors for the National Association for Rural Mental Health (NARMH) and serves on the Saint Francis University Social Work Advisory Board. She also serves on the board of directors for Veterans Community Initiatives (VCI). In addition, Christman is regularly asked to speak at international conferences about mental health issues facing at-risk populations in our country, advocating to eliminate barriers in providing care and offering supportive services to families in need.
This past October, Christman was also recognized as one of Pennsylvania Business Central's Women Making a Difference. She is a Certified Peer Support Specialist Supervisor, has a bachelor's in social work from Saint Francis University and a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice Administration from Mount Aloysius College.
