DEER OPEN HOUSE PREVIEW POSTED ON GAME COMMISSION WEBSITE
In an effort to reach more people with its deer open house program, Pennsylvania Game Commission officials posted a two-part video clip on the agency's website (www.pgc.state.pa.us) that offers a virtual tour of the open house display. To view the clips, which total 13 minutes and 16 seconds, click on "Deer Open House" icon underneath the large photo in the center of the homepage, where you will find a complete schedule of the open houses and links to the two video clips.
"Over the past four rounds, we have been attempting to move the open houses around in each of our six regions to maximize the opportunity for those interested in attending," said Carl G. Roe, Game Commission executive director. "Additionally, we've been holding these open houses on weekends to avoid times when many people are working.
"To further expand the opportunity for people to see what these open houses are all about, we are pleased to be able to post these two video clips on our website. However, we really encourage people to attempt to visit the open house, as there are opportunities to speak with various Game Commission employees, get answers to your questions, provide feedback and obtain additional information about deer management and hunting."
