HOUSTON, Sept. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Penny Pixel Inc., Powertip, and TARA Systems today announced a partnership to deliver a complete, validated solution for high-resolution graphical user interfaces for embedded products without the costly hardware or technical challenges traditionally required to drive them.
By combining Penny Pixel's patented display-driving technology, Powertip's display manufacturing and supply capabilities, and Embedded Wizard, TARA Systems' memory-efficient embedded GUI framework, the three companies are enabling product developers to deliver modern, high-quality graphical interfaces with reduced hardware complexity and, as a result, significantly reduced bill-of-materials (BOM) cost.
The partnership was formed to address a growing product design challenge: customers increasingly expect a rich graphical experience enabled by modern TFT displays, such as high resolution, vibrant colors and crisp graphics. Traditionally, these solutions require powerful processors, RAM, Flash and high-speed interfaces, increasing complexity and BOM cost.
