Pensacola Christian College Strengthens Student Engagement with Ex Libris campusM Mobile App

CHICAGO, April 11, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Ex Libris^®, a ProQuest company, is pleased to announce that Pensacola Christian College (PCC) in Florida has fully deployed the Ex Libris campusM^® cloud-based mobile platform to support student engagement and success. The campusM platform was chosen for its unique ability to bring together campus services under one umbrella and deliver the school's campus app, myPCC, to the community via smartphones, tablets, and laptops.

For today's digital-native PCC students, campus expectations are informed by daily experiences in the digital economy, where everything is on demand, convenient, personalized, and just a click away. The primary goal of myPCC is to provide dynamic, on-demand access to student resources; convey information on a variety of academic, athletic, fine arts, social, and service activities; and enable students to select and customize the desired options in their campus app. Using out-of-the-box campusM functionality, the MyPCC app employs multiple personalized profiles to offer each type of user a unique experience.

In the future, PCC hopes to extend app usage to prospective students with the goal of strengthening their engagement with the school and raising their awareness of events and opportunities when they visit the campus.
