Penthouse at The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Singer Island Heads to Luxury Auction

PALM BEACH, Fla., Dec. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Platinum Luxury Auctions, a firm specializing in the non-distressed sale of multimillion-dollar properties at auction, has extended the preview period of an oceanfront penthouse at The Ritz-Carlton Residences® located in Singer Island, Florida. Previously slated for December 6, the live auction event will now take place January 16, 2015 in order to allow interested buyers more time to visit the property now that construction of the unit is completed.

The never occupied, professionally decorated unit will sell to the highest bidder at or above the auction's $5.9 million reserve price. Platinum is managing the transaction in cooperation with Premier Sales Group, Inc. of South Florida, represented by agents Carolyn Block Ellert and Laurie Ingber.

"The condominium developer has impeccably high standards with regards to construction and design, and in order to meet those standards, additional time was required to finish the unit and create the luxurious, 'turnkey' living experience that met the developer's vision," stated David Enriquez, Platinum's vice president of operations and manager for the transaction. "In addition, a number of interested parties were not able to schedule their previews until after the holidays."

The penthouse offers oceanfront living at its finest, with 4 bedrooms, 5 full and 1 half bathrooms, and more than 6,100 interior square feet of living space. It also boasts an additional 2,500 square feet of private, rooftop terraces. Floor-to-ceiling windows, sliding glass doors, and 11-foot ceilings combine with soft, light interiors and elegant furnishings, creating a sumptuous and chic environment. Exceptional finishes are located throughout, and include Calacatta and white Diamante marble, Art Silk designer carpets and rugs, and custom millwork. Two private elevators service the penthouse.

"The legendary services of The Ritz-Carlton are synonymous with luxury throughout the world," noted Trayor Lesnock, Platinum's president and founder. "For those buyers seeking a relaxed, pampered lifestyle on one of South Florida's most peaceful beaches, this luxury auction presents an exceptional opportunity."

Residents of the property -- which consists entirely of private condominiums - have access to a collection of luxury amenities and world-renowned services, including a 24-hour concierge, valet parking, a state-of-the-art fitness facility, business center and library, social room with a kitchen and billiard table, and in-residence dining. The common areas also include multiple lounges and a posh theater.

One of only nine, stand alone Ritz-Carlton Residences in the world, the development boasts 375 feet of direct oceanfront access, a heated lagoon pool, a resort pool with Whirlpool spas and lush landscaping, a poolside restaurant, chef-maintained herb garden, and an outdoor kitchen and barbeque area. Premium amenities include private garages for automobiles and sporting equipment, air-conditioned storage rooms, private guest suites, and oceanfront cabanas.
