Penton Waste and Sustainability Group Promotes Hickey to Market Leader Position

NEW YORK, March 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Penton's Waste and Sustainability Group - which serves the $85-billion solid waste and recycling industry through WasteExpo, Waste360.com and Waste360 magazine - today announced that Mark Hickey has been promoted to the role of Market Leader.

Hickey brings 30 years of business-to-business media sales and management experience, including leadership of Penton's Telephony. He has managed print, digital, marketing services and conferences in a variety of industries - telecommunications, data networking, natural & organic foods and pharmaceuticals - in roles from territory management to group publisher.

Hickey will be continue to be based out of Penton's Chicago office and will report to Mr. Bimblick.
