Jamie Woodruff, leading authority on cybersecurity and ethical hacker will address the HostingCon audience in Amsterdam on October 11, 2016.

Woodruff entered the public eye when he successfully hacked Facebook as part of a student competition at Bangor University where he was studying computer information systems. He has since uncovered security holes in numerous high-profile operations, including Kim Kardashian's website, which he hacked in May to reveal that it was putting her fans' data at serious risk.
Woodruff is an expert on cyber issues, traveling internationally to talk at global corporations and the industry's most important conferences. He is also writing a book on cyber intelligence and combating terrorism whilst pursuing a PhD in political science at Sheffield University.
He often speaks to the importance of system and network security and is known for disclosing world-wide exploits and vulnerabilities within leading security applications such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Apple and Google. Woodruff finds existing exploits by infiltrating the companies in question. He demonstrated this by impersonating a Domino's pizza delivery boy at a large financial institution and gaining access to their server room via lock-picking. All carried out under fully authorized, ethical penetration testing.
Woodruff's keynote presentation at HostingCon Europe will focus on what leaders in the service provider industry need to know to protect both their customers and their business. He'll share his latest research in social engineering and human manipulation methodology as well as provide demonstrations for the audience.
