Using any web-enabled device, meeting hosts are able to send service requests to on-site event managers, service employees, kitchen staff, set-up personnel and management with minimal to no effort. In real time, Red Coat Event Coordinators will respond to the host and validate the request, transforming the way meetings are planned and strengthening the channel of communication between planners and hotels.

Red Coat Direct is the first branded hotel application to allow planners to continually make and adjust meeting requests without having to leave the room or even being on the property. A planner can send a message to the Event Department prior to arrival, changing a room requirement or check in on packages being delivered all from this application regardless of location. This web-based application is personalized to each organizer's meeting, and requests may be made up to three days in advance of arrival. This simple, yet effective software solution has set the bar for change and service throughout the industry.

Marriott began rolling out their Meeting Services Application known as Red Coat Direct in early August and is now live at over 100 properties, including this Minneapolis hotel. Early results show that Event Organizers are very excited about this latest piece of technology to be developed by Marriott International.
