People's United Bank To Be Exclusive Banking/Financial Services Sponsor Of The New England Aquarium Wrap Party June 28

BRIDGEPORT, Conn., June 24, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- People's United Bank announced today that it will be the exclusive financial services Signature Sponsor of The New England Aquarium's Wrap Party, celebrating the unveiling of the "The New Aquarium Experience" on June 28.

As part of its sponsorship, the bank will offer visitors the convenience of a People's United-branded ATM centrally located near the main entrance of the facility, which is expected to welcome over one million visitors this year. The bank will also benefit from additional on-site signage, exclusive event partnerships, and other brand marketing opportunities.

Its iconic Giant Ocean Tank, considered the centerpiece of its main facility, is now a revitalized home for the aquarium's spectacular Caribbean coral reef exhibit.  Renovations include a new walkway for wheelchair and stroller access; a new education center; and new presentation spaces, dive platforms, and glass railings to give children better views around the tank's perimeter.
