Pepperl+Fuchs Again Voted Best Provider of Intrinsic Safety and Purge Systems by Control Magazine's Readers' Choice Poll

TWINSBURG, Ohio, Feb. 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Pepperl+Fuchs, a world leader in process automation and applications, was again voted the best provider of intrinsic safety components and industrial enclosure purge systems by Control magazine in its 2015 Readers' Choice survey.

The recognition marks the 12th consecutive year in the top position for purge systems and the sixth consecutive year for leading intrinsic safety by Control magazine. These honors follow 14 consecutive years of the same recognition for intrinsic safety by Control Design magazine since that publication's poll began in 2001.

A survey of more than 1,000 readers of Control placed Pepperl+Fuchs above all other intrinsic safety providers, including Rockwell Automation, Siemens Industry and R. Stahl. Respondents were asked to consider each company's consistent quality, innovation and the "hard-won trust" of its customers.

"One readers' choice award is truly an honor, but repeated, consecutive awards in both leading publications indicates true market validation that Pepperl+Fuchs is clearly leading the industry in both of these categories," said Kristen Barbour, product marketing manager.

Pepperl+Fuchs offers a wide selection of intrinsic safety solutions that deliver safe, reliable and efficient signal transmission between field devices and control systems. Isolated barriers feature galvanic isolation between the signal loop and all other power loops.

Pepperl+Fuchs Bebco EPS Purge/Pressurization products offer a safe and economical approach to installing electrical equipment in hazardous locations. When general-purpose equipment is used in hazardous (classified) areas, a safe area inside a standard enclosure is created. The Pepperl+Fuchs Systems and Solutions group can also design custom enclosure solutions to meet unique specifications.
