Perfect Home Services to Host "Thanks for Giving" Fall Festival and Food Drive

NAPERVILLE, Ill., Nov. 12, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Perfect Home Services, a leading HVAC and plumbing company in the Chicagoland area, announced today it will be hosting a Thanksgiving festival and food drive, with all proceeds and donations going to local organization, Loaves & Fishes Community Services.

The "Thanks for Giving" event will be held from noon until 4 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 18, at Mill Street Elementary School, 1300 N. Mill St., Naperville. The festival will be held inside the school's gymnasium, and the public is invited to attend this free event.

"The holidays offer a great opportunity to reflect on the blessings in your life," said Justin Carrol, president of Perfect Home Services. "Thanksgiving is a time of food and fellowship with friends and family. It's heartbreaking to think of how many don't have enough to eat, not just at the holidays but every single day. Organizations like Loaves & Fishes are doing amazing work, and I hope this is the first of many opportunities we'll have to help in the fight against hunger."

The festival will include free cotton candy, popcorn and water, and the Toasty Cheese Food Truck will also be onsite as a paid option. Crafts, games, prizes and other activities for the whole family are planned, including a bounce house and face painting. A balloon twister, Elsa from "Frozen" and Spider-Man will also be featured guests at the festival. Representatives from Perfect Home Services will be on-hand to collect both food and monetary donations, which will be delivered to Loaves & Fishes directly after the event.

"We've been serving the homes in Naperville and the Chicagoland suburbs for 26 years now," Carrol said. "The Chicagoland area has given us a lot, and we're thankful for the opportunity to be able to give back. Naperville isn't just our livelihood, it's our home."

While every donation is welcome and appreciated, there are items Loaves & Fishes needs most, including healthy foods — such as oatmeal, gluten-free items and whole grain cereal or pasta — and general grocery items — like coffee, tea, rice and condensed soup.
