Performance Bicycle® raises over $17,500 for Rails-to-Trails

CHAPEL HILL, N.C., June 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Performance Bicycle®, the No. 1 choice for people who love to ride, is pleased to announce that cyclists nationwide helped raise $17,522 for Rails-to-Trails Conservancy throughout National Bike Month. The total amount raised is a combination of customer donations and matching funds from Performance Bicycle.

Performance Bicycle partnered with the nation's largest trails organization to further promote cycling through the creation of more trails and maintenance of existing ones. During the month of May, cyclists were invited to make an in-store or online donation of $1 to support the nonprofit's efforts to build, maintain, defend and connect trail corridors across the nation, with Performance matching up to $10,000 of all donations collected.
