As reported by NPD, PDP grew 58 percent for the 12 months ending Aug. 2016 vs. the 12 months ending Aug. 2015. These numbers are driven by sales of the Afterglow headset series, including the Afterglow AG 9, LVL5, LVL3 and LVL1 products for the Xbox One console and the PlayStation®4 system.

"We are very excited about the phenomenal success of the Afterglow brand and PDP's significant growth in market share," said Bob Picunko, senior vice president of marketing at Performance Designed Products. "With the Afterglow AG 9+, our focus was to create a high quality, affordable headset with superior comfort for an immersive gaming experience."

The Afterglow AG 9+ Prismatic Wireless Headset features powerful 50mm Neodymium drivers, with two distinct audio modes: Pure Audio and Bass Boost. Designed with comfort in mind, the headband design and extra plush ear cup pads reduce pressure and fatigue during long gaming sessions. The flexible and removable boom microphone, with noise and echo canceling technology, allow for crystal clear wireless chat communication for online play. The AG 9 and AG 9+ headsets are fully compatible with all new console systems, as they do not require an optical audio port.

The Afterglow AG 9+ Prismatic Wireless Headset has an SRP of $99.99 for Xbox One and $89.99 for PS4, and is now available at www.pdp.com and major retailers.
