Performance Team's Annual Gives Back Campaign Raises $25,000 for the California Community Foundation's Wildfire Relief Fund
LOS ANGELES, March 6, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Every year, Performance Team leads a company-wide campaign to raise money for a non-profit organization in need. This year, in light of the horrific fires that have plagued California, Performance Team helped raise $25,000 for the California Community Foundation's Wildfire Relief Fund.
"Today, shoots of green are sprouting amid the ashes in Paradise and Malibu," said CCF President & CEO Antonia Hernández. "It is an honor to join with Performance Team to help wildfire-affected communities to recover, restore, and blossom anew."
While the California Community Foundation directs its time and resources into many sectors such as education, health, and immigration, their recent efforts have focused on assisting those affected by the wildfires through the Wildfire Relief Fund. Hundreds of thousands of acres and structures were destroyed in both Northern and Southern California, causing tragic loss of life, and also leaving many families without shelter and essential items. The Foundation supports immediate and long-term recovery - displacement due to loss of housing, as well belongings and/or employment, and those who suffer physical or mental health problems. The Foundation helps to rebuild homes and provide financial assistance.
