MicroPack Debuts at CES 2017 Integrated with WattUp® Technology from Energous
LAS VEGAS, Jan 4, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- CES 2017 -- PERI (www.PERIaudio.com), innovator of cutting-edge wireless audio and power products, today announced a strategic partnership and technology integration with Energous Corporation (NASDAQ: WATT), developer of WattUp—a revolutionary, wire-free charging technology that provides over-the-air power at a distance. With this partnership PERI will bring to market leading edge designs for audio and portable power products with the convenience of wire-free charging, powered by Energous' WattUp technology.

At CES 2017, PERI will debut the MicroPack™, which provides rapid charging to any micro-USB port, and is the first power dongle to be charged by Energous' wireless-charging technology. The MicroPack will be shipped with a WattUp charging pad in the box and will also support at-a-distance charging from future WattUp transmitters, offering even more flexibility and convenience. Currently, the MicroPack can simply be placed on the charging pad, unlike other solutions that require careful positioning on an inductive or resonant coil in order to prompt charging.
