Perú Mucho Gusto Culinary Festival Debuts in New York City This September
New York City will host the first-ever North American edition of the Perú Mucho Gusto Culinary Festival - a vibrant three-day celebration of Peruvian gastronomy, culture, and creativity
NEW YORK, Sept. 2, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- This September, the world-renowned Peruvian culinary festival is expanding to the United States for the first time to showcase Perú's award-winning cuisine, superfoods, pisco, and cultural heritage in New York City. Organized by the Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Export and Tourism (PROMPERÚ), the event will take place from September 19 to 21, 2025 at Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse. The Festival will showcase the richness and diversity of Perú's gastronomy and culture, which has positioned Perú as one of the world's leading culinary and tourist destinations.
Since its launch in 2008, Perú Mucho Gusto has become the country's flagship gastronomic event, with 28 editions across 12 regions of Perú, gathering more than 2,000 entrepreneurs and welcoming over 810,000 attendees. Earlier this year, the fair expanded internationally for the first time with a successful debut in Madrid, where 14,350 visitors attended and international media coverage reached more than 128 million people worldwide.
Now, for the first time, Perú Mucho Gusto is coming to the United States, expected to welcome around 5,000 visitors over three days to celebrate the colors, flavors, and traditions of Perú in New York City. The event is free and open to the public, with registration required. A registration link will soon be available on the Perú Mucho Gusto website.
Highlights of Perú Mucho Gusto NYC include:
