PeruModa in NYC to showcase 22 top Factories at Premiere Vision (PV) on July 18-19
NEW YORK, July 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- 22 Peruvian factories make their way to PV on Pier 94 to exhibit their capabilities in Vicuna, Alpaca, Pima Cotton, organics and blends on July 18-19. These full package manufacturers will show-off their techniques in knits, sweaters and woven garments while demonstrating the benefits of manufacturing in Peru.
Peru is home to the most luxurious raw materials in the world. With different printing and embroidery techniques, an assorted of washes and dyes as well as the ability to produce performance/ tech wear and hand knits, these factories are perfect examples of the high-quality garment manufacturers in Peru that are producing collections for brands worldwide. Another prime advantage Peru has over other manufacturing countries is its Free Trade Agreement with the US, resulting in competitive prices, better service and a quicker turnaround time.
As part of the show, there will be a one-hour panel discussion and cocktail party to wrap up the day on the 18th. 'Key Benefits of Manufacturing in Peru' starts at 5 p.m. and features design and sourcing executives from John Varvatos, Mara Hoffman, Lenzing and Bonobos, all companies who currently produce in Peru. Topics will include: Speed to market, natural fibers, environmental and social responsibility amongst others. Following, the cocktail party will feature Pisco drinks and Peruvian bites.
