Petco Celebrates Force Friday with Midnight Release of New Star Wars™ Pet Fans Collection™ Characters

SAN DIEGO, Sept. 4, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Petco debuted five new products as part of their Star Wars™ Pet Fans Collection™ at midnight, Sept. 4, in honor of "Force Friday." The new Petco toys, exclusively available at Petco.com/StarWars, feature the latest characters in the Star Wars galaxy, including the mysterious new villain Kylo Ren, First Order warrior Captain Phasma and smart droid BB-8.

In addition to these three new characters, the Star Wars Pet Fans Collection features an assortment of product inspired by classic Star Wars characters, including: Han Solo™, Darth Vader™, Princess Leia™, Chewbacca™, Yoda™, Ewok™, R2-D2™, C-3PO™, Boba Fett™, Stormtrooper™, Jabba the Hutt™, Jawa™, Death Star™, AT-AT™, Darth Maul™, Wampa™ and X-Wing Fighter™, among others.

The popular collection, which ranges in price from $4.99 to $49.99, includes toys, collars, leashes, pet ID tags, apparel and accessories, all of which are currently available at Petco stores nationwide and online at Petco.com. Beds for dogs and cats and additional home accessories will be available at a later date. With products available in sizes ranging from XS-XXXL, pets of all sizes can awaken the force and join the fun.
