SAN FRANCISCO, April 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- CamberView Partners, LLC, the leading source of independent, investor-led advice for public companies on shareholder activism and engagement, announced today that Peter Michelsen has joined the firm as a Partner. He joins CamberView from Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he was a Managing Director in the investment banking division, a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions group, and was extensively involved in advising clients in connection with contested situations and corporate governance matters.
"Peter has considerable experience advising Boards and executive management teams in high-profile, contested situations," said Abe Friedman, Managing Partner. At Goldman Sachs, Mr. Michelsen was responsible for the execution of M&A transactions and strategic advisory engagements across a broad range of industries.
