Set to Lukas Graham's "7 Years," the campaign celebrates the milestones shared around P.F. Chang's table, a reminder that some of life's best memories are made together

Chang's®, the brand that has been bringing people together around its table for more than 30 years, debuted a new brand spot today inspired by a phrase guests share time and again, "I loved P.F. Chang's growing up." Set to Lukas Graham's "7 Years," the film looks back on the milestones and celebrations that happen around the P.F. Chang's table and invites guests who grew up with the brand to return and start new traditions with the people who matter most.
The story unfolds across different stages of a guest's life, from birthday celebrations to family reunions. Along the way, it highlights the signatures that have made P.F. Chang's an icon – its famous Chang's Lettuce Wraps, the theatrical dining experience, and the sparkler candle atop the Great Wall of Chocolate®. Paired with the song's reflective lyrics, the film is an emotional look back at growing up and a reminder that some of life's best memories are made around the table.
As a long-time destination for celebrating occasions, like prom nights, graduations, birthdays, and other milestones, guests who grew up dining at P.F. Chang's are now celebrating those milestones with their own children. The new campaign leans into that multigenerational connection and speaks both to longtime fans reflecting on their own memories, and to a new generation of families ready to make memories of their own.

The new brand spot reflects a broader evolution in P.F. Chang's marketing since Smith was appointed Chief Marketing Officer in January, shifting away from promotion-led messaging, toward storytelling rooted in the brand itself – its experience, its innovation and the stories behind its signature dishes. That approach has been central to a broader business turnaround, with P.F. Chang's climbing from 22nd to 3rd in same-store sales growth within its casual dining competitive set in less than one year.
The campaign also arrives as guests continue to seek out human connection and shared experiences in restaurants, with dine-in traffic continuing to rise. This summer, the launch of P.F. Chang's theatrical Sushi Boat helped lift dine-in same-restaurant traffic from +1% before launch to +9.2% after, underscoring guests' appetite for memorable moments around the table.

The film is set to the song "7 Years" by Lukas Graham, and was produced and edited by Mark Skala of Skalawag Productions, with the story developed in partnership with the P.F. Chang's brand marketing team.
The new brand creative will run across connected TV, digital streaming and social media channels, with additional versions and cutdowns developed for those platforms. The campaign also kicks off a season of gathering for P.F. Chang's ahead of the holiday season, with more to come in the weeks ahead.
