PFP Cybersecurity Selected by National Science Foundation (NSF) to Exhibit in the Eureka Park Marketplace at CES 2016

VIENNA, Va., Jan. 7, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- PFP Cybersecurity, a provider of a unique physics-based anomaly detection technology, today announced that the company has been selected by the National Science Foundation (NSF) to participate at CES 2016. PFP will exhibit at the Sands Expo and Convention Center within Tech West's Eureka Park from January 6-9, 2016 at booth #80246. Eureka Park is the flagship startup destination and playground of innovation at CES.

CES is a showcase of the latest and greatest technology innovations, many this year focused on the Internet of Things and connected devices. However, security is often left out when developing these devices, and PFP has created a solution that can protect consumers when driving a connected car, relying on a connected medical device or living in a smart home.  PFP's malware detection solution for IoT applications monitors power consumption of a device to detect anomalies and help protect against the potential attacks that comes with the rise in connected devices.

"The growing prevalence of interconnected devices and the rapid adoption of IoT underscores the importance of ensuring the reliability and security of these devices," said Carlos Aguayo Gonzalez, CTO and co-founder of PFP Cybersecurity. "PFP has developed a first-of-its-kind IoT security solution that is not only scalable at the chip-level, but also has the capability to be loaded on a wide array of devices, allowing for machine-time detection of threats and attacks."

CES 2016 provides a gathering place for individuals around the globe who team on innovation and the business of consumer technology. The combination of impromptu networking connections, planned meetings and special events gives businesses and attendees the maximum exposure and reach to like-minded people. With the latest ideas ranging from cyber and personal security to accessibility and wearables, attendees from the government sector, start-ups, senior level executives, retailers and Fortune 100 companies will learn from each other and collaborate on their innovative ideas.
