PGA TOUR Superstore Announces a $5,000 Grant to The First Tee of Metropolitan New York

PARAMUS, N.J., Aug. 18, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- PGA TOUR Superstore has announced a $5,000 grant to The First Tee of Metropolitan New York to deliver educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.

The grant will be awarded on Tuesday, August 19 at 1:00 p.m. during The Barclays Tournament at The Ridgewood Country Club. Youth from The First Tee of Metropolitan New York will be in attendance. The Barclays Tournament begins on August 19 and runs through August 24, 2014.

"By teaching the game of golf, The First Tee of Metropolitan New York is educating, enriching and empowering young people throughout New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut," said PGA TOUR Superstore President and CEO Dick Sullivan. The First Tee of Metropolitan New York serves 31 locations throughout New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, reaching 34,572 youth through the game of golf.
